It’s like this, see…

April 1st, 2005

Big plans. I had big plans for the transition to the new blog format. Huge plans. Like most of my projects, though, I just didn’t have enough time to make it happen like I wanted to. I pushed back the transition time after time. I was going to do it over Thanksgiving. Then over Christmas; I would have it ready for the new year. Then by my birthday. Then I set my sights on the end of March.

I had planned to edit the CSS so that the Wordpress blog would look just like the old site. I had planned to write a big long explanation of why I’m changing over to blog format. I had planned to rehost the photo album into Wordpress. And on and on they went, these Big Plans.

But now it’s April, and I fear that if I don’t just go ahead and do it, then I’ll keep putting it off forever and it’ll never get done. So I’m turning on the blog. No joke. No foolin’. Eventually I’ll do all those things I had planned to do, the CSS, the photo albums, the explanation, and all the rest. For now, you’ll just have to make do with what you see.

This I promise, though, for those of you who care: I’ll post more often. More about what’s going on in my life, and the lives of all my girls. More stories. More photos. More babblings and blatherings. More.

Promise.
