Two funny things happen every time I bring up Bloglines in the morning.

I put bloglines into Google, and it responds with the correct search results, plus the query “Did you mean bloodlines?” Their spell-checker often catches me when I mistype or misspell, but the suggestion of bloodlines for bloglines seems odd. For one thing, their spellings are not similar enough that one is likely to be a mistyping for the other. For another, Bloglines is a very popular site and the number one search hit. Google’s guesses and suggestions aren’t always on the money.

The other funny thing is that, if I hit the number one search result, www.bloglines.com, I get an error page. It’s as if someone at Bloglines has configured their web server to respond to bloglines.com, but not www.bloglines.com. For this reason, I can’t use the “I’m feeling lucky” button like I normally would.
