…except a win against Tech! Let the trash talk begin. Except, I don’t really have the heart to talk trash about Tech sports. I feel like every game we play (football/basketball/baseball) is really just a 2-3 hour nerve-wracking experience. We don’t win games we’re supposed to, we almost win games where it would be a major upset, and we barely win games that are toss-ups.
Anyway, good luck to the Auburn fans against Tech next week. May both teams play great and go injury-free. And if Tech wins, may Tech please not manage to disappoint me the rest of the season.

BTW – do you know how hard it was to hang out at the Thompson house every week and hear about Auburn, War Eagle, Go Tigers, blah blah blah when I was (at the time) an Alabama fan? At least everyone was good company and welcomed me anyway.

And I don’t have the heart to talk trash when last year’s entire backfield is now in the NFL and we’re breaking in a new one. Maybe by time for the Alabama game I’ll be ready to talk trash.
