This is sad: the warehouse storing Aardman props and sets from Nick Park’s first three short films was destroyed by fire. Wendy and I have been fans of the Wallace and Gromit films since the early days. I first saw “Grand Day Out” at an animation festival in Boston in 1990, and I was enthralled. Fortunately, nothing from the current production, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, was destroyed. We’re looking forward to seeing Were-Rabbit; not only does it look like huge fun, but the reviews have been great.
