Why Didn’t I Notice This Before?

When using Google’s new weblog reader site (an RSS aggregator), if you put your mouse pointer into the index on the left of the page, you can spin the mouse wheel to scroll the list up and down. This is a feature that would be obvious on a locally installed application like Word, but is rare in web applications. Web apps are becoming more and more like local apps, and Google is leading the way. No wonder Microsoft is spooked about Google.
