The Houston Sheltie Sanctuary is auctioning this beatiful quilt to raise funds:

The handmade quilt was generously donated by Denise Copeland, a textile artist who resides in Chesapeake, Virginia. The quilt’s front is appliqu├ęd, and the ink drawings on the front are Denise’s orginial drawings based upon two of her girls, Raphaella and Winnie. The quilt’s back features photos of seven rescued Shelties. Each photo has a pocket with each owner’s written tribute to their dog tucked inside. The quilt label is a photo transfer of a water color painting Denise did of her first rescued Sheltie, Maddie. The quilt measures 52′ x 52′.

All proceeds from this auction will go directly to the Houston Sheltie Sanctuary, Inc. a non-profit organization located in Houston, Texas that rescues and rehabilitates Shelties. More pictures are available on the eBay auction page.
