GPLv3

The first draft of the new version 3 of the GNU GPL (General Public License) has just been published by the Free Software Foundation. This license is what keeps tools like linux, gcc, and xemacs free for you and me to use. There’s been a lot of talk about GPLv3 in recent months, and speculation about what will and what won’t be in it. Now we can take our first look.
