An Inconvenient Movie
June 10th, 2006Last night I went with a group organized by Eric Berger of the Houston Chronicle to see Al Gore’s movie An Inconvenient Truth. It was an interesting movie, and I came away from it with some things to think about and even research. I’m not going to go into it in detail right now, but I think Eric’s blog post today gives a pretty good summary of the film. Whether you like Al Gore or not, and no matter what your position on global warming, I recommend you see the movie and give the issue some thought. It’s worth your time and attention.
Driving up to River Oaks wasn’t convenient, but I got to meet some interesting people, so it was worth it.
Update: Robert Nagle has an interesting discussion of the Blogspace reaction to Gore’s movie (but Robert doesn’t say whether he’s seen the film himself, nor what he thinks of it).
