Dwight Silverman, blog guru and technology columnist at the Houston Chronicle has asked me to guest-blog his TechBlog while he’s away on a two-week unplugged vacation. TechBlog is one of the Chronicle’s most popular weblogs, so for the next two weeks my words will appear before more eyeballs than ever before. I don’t know what TechBlog’s weekly readership numbers are, but I’m sure they dwarf mine.

It’s going to be an interesting two weeks. Dwight typically posts something two or three times a day. I’m not going to try to match that pace - I have a day job, after all - but I’m going to try to post something once a day. While I’m getting back into the hang of blogging, I’m also going to spend some quality time bringing the Making Movies blog up to date.
