Nineteen years and counting . . .

September 19th, 2006

Happy Anniversary my darling bride!

Mmmmm, caaaake . . .

This time a year ago, we were buying plywood and preparing for a hurricane in 100 degree weather. Today the weather is cool and there’s nothing threatening us from the Gulf. What a difference a year makes.

Fab photo of the lovely couple. Best wishes to both of you on your anniversary!

    Congratulations!

Nice photo! How time flies for brides and their grooms…..

I’m liking the “new and improved” hurricane season right now as well.

Still have brief feelings of PTHSD (Post Traumatic Hurricane Stress Disorder) every time a local weather-caster says the phrase…”Something in the tropics we are keeping an eye on…”

    Cheers!

    Jim and Wendy,
Congratulations! Nineteen years is awesome! I have a difficult time understanding how this is even possible, but I will take your word for it. I hope you had a wonderful anniversary celebration, and I am glad it was hurricane-stress free.

    Love,
    Jerry

And it seems like just yesterday that Jennifer amused the folks sitting behind us at your wedding by shoving pencils up her nose. Wow! I still haven’t forgiven you for finding that “help me” on the bottom of your shoes and scraping it off. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! WE LOVE YA’LL!!!!!

When I first saw the pic, what came to mind was “daddy was rich and mamma was good-looking”. I don’t know how rich daddy is, but you both are certainly good-looking! Congratulations!!!

Jennifer was entertaining Amy and Mrs. Johnson with that pencil. By the way, have you forgiven us yet for writing on the bottom of your shoes? I mean, it’s not like you found out about the prank just in time to wipe it off!!! It was the classic that never was!! Anyway, many congrats to you and Wendy! She’s a great sister-in-law!

    Congrats!

Thank you all for the nice remarks!
