Information you can use: dismantling atomic weapons

October 2nd, 2006

Did you wake up this morning to find an atomic weapon on your lawn? Perhaps you arrived at work to find that the office prankster left an A-bomb in your desk drawer? What to do, what to do? Well, despair no more: Wired has published instructions on how to dismantle that pesky atomic device. One word of caution, though: Wired’s instructions are good only for fission bombs. If your bomb is a fusion (hydrogen) bomb, then you’ll have to call someone. I recommend an exterminator, a plumber or Mr. Carp — he can fix it, he can fix anything. Good luck!
