If you tuned in to CBS at 11 AM CDT this morning, you saw one of the worst performances ever by an Auburn football team. Why do we always seem to play our worst football against Arkansas? You’ve got to congratulate those hogs, though, they outplayed us on both sides of the ball. Number 2? Feh. We’ll be lucky to stay in the top 25 after today. I’ll write more later if I can stop throwing up.

Hi Jim,
I stumbed across your blog because of your FLICKR photos of Huntsville with notes. It is amazing where our lives intersect.
1. I went to Auburn 1983-1988 (studied Civil Engineering)
2. I have lived in Huntsville since 1989 (work at Intergraph)
3. Our family dog is a Sheltie (named Spencer).
4. I have been friends with Glenn Fountain since 1992, used to live across the street form Elaine Fountain and now Chris Fountain lives there. Depending on the year you graduated I probably know others you do.
Auburn really played poorly as they are prone to do almost every year at least once:
2005 - Ga Tech and Wisconsin; 2004 - none; 2003 - Ga Tech; 2002? - Arkansas, etc….
