Let’s see… it’s the first day of Winter. It’s the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year. And something else… something else… oh yeah…

IT’S BRYN’S BIRTHDAY! Happy 13th, Bryn Rae!

Update: Today is also the birthday of the crossword puzzle. The first crossword puzzle appeared in the New York World on December 21, 1913. Crossword puzzles would become so popular that Richard L. Simon and M. Lincoln Schuster formed a publishing company to sell books of the puzzles.
