Coming soon: photos of Bryn actually riding. Bryn and Laredo at W Bar SMonday, May 19th, 2008 Bryn rode Laredo yesterday at the W Bar S Combined Training Event and took fourth place in her division. I was in the office getting caught up on some work that needed doing. Wendy took the new video camera (the old one has been busted for some time now) and filmed Bryn’s rides. Video of Bryn riding Laredo at Pine HillSaturday, March 22nd, 2008Here’s two videos of Bryn riding Laredo at Pine Hill courtesy of Terry Longoria. Bye-bye, NolanTuesday, November 21st, 2006Nolan, our latest in a long series of Sheltie foster dogs, has finally been adopted. Wendy got to the barn early this morning, only to learn that Genna was in the hospital with a bad case of kidney stones. She’s been released, and is on medication, but […] Milestone!Friday, August 11th, 2006Bryn rode Laredo tonight! It’s the first time any of us have ridden him (as opposed to sitting on his back while being led around with a rope). She rode beautifully — she walked and trotted him, but did not canter. Laredo’s been in training for about four months, and Bryn has been riding for […] Sad newsSunday, August 6th, 2006We learned tonight that Aspy, one of our favorite horses at Genn’s barn, has broken his leg and will have to be put down. Apsy is a beautiful big gelding in the color that is called “flea-bitten gray” (Wendy had to explain to me that flea-bitten does not refer to the horse’s hygiene, but to […] Two Horse StoriesThursday, May 18th, 2006 Now it’s time to catch up on my blogging. Here’s a couple of horse tales for you: |
